Malware & Incident Response Consultants

ThreatGRID, a cloud based malware analysis and threat intelligence company, is looking for experienced security consultants who deliver security expertise and service excellence. Consultants who understand the importance of detecting, investigating and remediating malware attacks. The ideal candidate will possess strong consulting skills, experience in conducting and coordinating incident response investigations, and be adept in leading multiple projects under tight deadlines.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and assist security projects and implementation engagements as required
  • Participate in, and drive, security incident response investigations
  • Provide support by conducting reverse engineering of new vulnerabilities and malicious code
  • Build counter threat intelligence and content against new and existing threats
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of strategies and architectures to secure client environments
  • Customer Support
  • Training

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Malware analysis experience or aptitude
  • Technical background in incident response, malware analysis or security engineering
  • Possess a demonstrated understanding of security principles, best practices, architectures, tools and processes in the areas of operational security, data and systems integrity, network security and associated methodologies

REQUIRED CONSULTING SKILLS

  • Development and delivery of presentations and reports to technical and executive audiences
  • Proven track record of successfully interfacing and establishing rapport with clients
  • Evaluate customer needs, coordinate, design and clearly communicate solutions
  • Has successfully implemented IT security tools and infrastructure in a Fortune 500 or above company
  • Wide range of functional and process knowledge of multiple IT disciplines
  • Experience in CIRTs and SOCs a plus
  • Understanding of current information security trends, business challenges, IT security solutions and operation delivery models
  • Organized, responsive and highly thorough problem solver
  • Strong communications skills, both written and oral
  • Consulting background

EDUCATION & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum of five years in IT security
  • Minimum of five years in incident response
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%
